This is the first edition of Focus Future art school fair, an exceptional sales exhibition at the College of Fine Arts. All collectors are welcome to make their first discoveries of emerging artists. During the fair more than 800 art students offer their works for 4 days in a characteristic and memorable surrounding of art school studios, in the venerable Fritz Schumacher building from 1913.

Today’s blue chip artists like Daniel Richter, Isa Genzken, Hanne Darboven, Martin Kippenberger and Jonathan Meese have started their career in front of you. Spot and collect the next generation of memorable world class artists to conjure up an artistic territory that knows no borders.

Fathoming new concepts for presenting and disposing art is topical and essential. This year has been redesigned to provide the very best possible conditions for showing, viewing and buying art. The sections characterized by curatorial approach of HFBK art-professors help to reinforce the specificity and have reached increasingly high levels. A breadth of research and dialogue with artists, ensuring a unique range of art that is of high quality, geographically diverse, and comprises a multifarious spectrum of art disciplines, like painting, photography, graphic art, design, media art, theory and sculpture.

This year’s frame program of guided tours, film panels and talks will give deeper insights of the art school habitat.

Furthermore we offer a book lounge and professional art advisory to be informed in depth about the latest trends in the art field.

The team of Focus Future extends a very warm welcome to all guests, visitors and collectors. We are looking forward to some exciting days.
